Everyone will say goodbye to Mr. Tinaye Chigudu at Heroes Acre today. He helped make Zimbabwe free many years ago. President Mnangagwa will lead the special ceremony. People need to arrive early and sit down by seven in the morning. Big buses will bring people from different parts of Zimbabwe to honor Mr. Chigudu. The President named him a national hero last Friday after he died on Wednesday. Yesterday, many people went to Chigudu Village to remember him. Cars carrying Mr. Chigudu drove on the road because rain stopped planes from flying. People stood along the road waving and singing as he passed by. People remember Mr. Chigudu as someone who helped others. As a leader in Manicaland, he ensured that many people could own land. He worked hard to make Zimbabwe better after fighting for freedom. Minister Mugadza said nice things about Mr. Chigudu. He said Mr. Chigudu started helping Zimbabwe when he was only 22 years old. The police put him in jail for 12 years, but he never stopped wanting to make Zimbabwe free. Mr. Shadreck Chipanga said Mr. Chigudu was a good friend who helped people solve problems. Mr. Tawanda Mukodza said Mr. Chigudu showed others how to be good leaders. Mr. Newton Chigudu thanked everyone for making his brother a national hero. He feels happy that people will remember the Chigudu name forever. Last night, they brought Mr. Chigudu to his house in Harare before today's special goodbye at Heroes Acre.
