Salim Mvurya just started working on youth and sports a few months ago. He moved there from trade. Ruto needs him to keep an eye on trade again for now, as well.

These guys will handle the extra work until the new ministers Ruto picked are approved. First, Parliament has to interview them, which happens in mid-January.

Ruto recently met with former president Uhuru Kenyatta and then chose some of his old allies to be new ministers. He wants their help running the government better.

The new ministers are Mutahi Kagwe for agriculture, William Kabogo for communications, and Lee Kinyanjui for trade. They all used to work closely with Uhuru.

Ruto is having trusted people cover these ministries for now. The newly appointed ministers will take over after parliament gives the green light. It's all part of Ruto's plan to improve his government.
