The meeting produced the Dar es Salaam Declaration, a plan to expand electricity access through partnerships between African nations, development groups, and private companies.

Current statistics show that 600 million Africans lack electricity, and another billion people use unsafe cooking methods. The declaration aims to address these challenges through clean energy solutions.

"This declaration will shape Africa's energy landscape through 2030," Hassan said. She expressed confidence in the plan's ability to boost economic growth.

The conference attracted 40 leaders from international organizations and 25 energy industry billionaires. Hassan closed her message with "Karibuni tena Tanzania" - welcome back to Tanzania.
