Prince Dube continues his scoring streak in Tanzania with 13 goals already this season. The 28-year-old Zimbabwean plays for Young Africans SC after joining them last year on a two-year deal following his departure from Azam FC. He currently leads the scoring charts in the Tanzanian Premier League during his first season with the club. His talents extend beyond league play as he contributes significantly in other tournaments.
Dube told reporters he feels happy about his performance and credits his teammates and coaches for their support. The former Highlanders striker has netted three goals in the CAF Champions League campaign, including a stoppage-time equalizer against TP Mazembe last December. He also scored against Commercial Bank of Ethiopia FC in their first meeting. The fast attacker, nicknamed Mgadafi, has reportedly contributed to 22 goals across all competitions in just 30 matches.
During his time at Azam FC, Dube played alongside fellow Zimbabwean Bruce Kangwa, who later moved to CAPS United. Other Zimbabwean players like Never Tigere, Tafadzwa Kutinyu, and Francisco Zvikumbawire also found homes at Azam FC previously.
