Samuel Asiedu finished his prison work after 34 years of helping Ghana. The Assistant Director of Prisons ran the Ahinsan Settlement Camp Prison before he left. Asiedu studied sociology and politics at the University of Ghana. During his career, he worked at several prisons across the country. The United Nations sent him to the Democratic Republic of Congo to help train prison workers there. Prison bands played music at the retirement ceremony for all the guests. Many other prison officers came to say goodbye to their friends and coworkers.
