[QUOTE="Munyaradzi Mafaro, post: 40133, member: 636"] Al Ahly revealed the salary details for new head coach Jose Riveiro after making his appointment official. The Red Devils hired the 49-year-old Spaniard as their permanent manager for the upcoming seasons. Riveiro becomes just the second coach from Spain to lead the famous Egyptian club. He takes over from interim manager Emad El-Nahhas and replaces former head coach Marcel Koller from Switzerland. El Watan Sports reported the contract specifics for the new coaching appointment. Riveiro signed a two-year agreement with Al Ahly worth $100,000 each month which equals about R1.7 million. Four assistants joined Riveiro at the North African club to complete his coaching team. Carlos Nodar works as assistant coach alongside Miguel Pepeira who handles physical training duties. Juan Jose takes care of goalkeeper coaching and Sebastian Podsiadly serves as performance analyst. The four assistants earn a combined $65,000 monthly according to the same media report. Bonus payments were added to Riveiro's contract based on team achievements during his time with Al Ahly. The Spanish coach receives three months extra salary if he wins the CAF Champions League with the team. He earns one additional month pay for capturing either the Egyptian Premier League title or CAF Super Cup. His first official match comes against Inter Miami at the expanded FIFA Club World Cup tournament. Riveiro faces immediate pressure to succeed with one of Africa's most successful football clubs.
