Raila Odinga started meeting people across the Nyanza area. During his travels, he wants to talk with many groups. Today Raila meets with young leaders and party officials in Kisumu City Hall. These young leaders come from eight different areas of Kisumu. Governor Anyang Nyong'o joins Raila at this meeting. Speaker Elisha Oraro and Assembly Whip Seth Kanga also came to help. Raila flew into Kisumu airport Monday afternoon. His brother Oburu Oginga and MP Junet Mohamed traveled with him. Governor Nyong'o welcomed them at the airport with happiness. This will happen after Raila visits President William Ruto in Mombasa. They talked about important things happening in Kenya. Raila plans to speak with new people after his Kisumu meeting ends. Raila said he needs to ask his party members what they should do next. "I will talk with many friends and supporters before I decide my next step," Raila explained at State House in Mombasa. The two leaders discussed the recent African Union Commission vote. Raila lost this election to Mahamoud Ali Youssouf from Djibouti. Mahamoud received 33 votes in the seventh round. Raila thanked President Ruto for helping during his campaign. He said his party wants to work with other groups to make Kenya more united. Raila also mentioned that running for the African Union job was his personal choice.
