Odinga spoke these words at Colonel James Gitahi's funeral in Machakos. Gitahi died March 7 in a terrible crash at Kyumvi Junction on Mombasa Highway when his car hit a truck head-on and burst into flames. The retired military pilot was alone in his car and died instantly from severe burns. Gitahi was married to ODM-nominated Senator Betty Batuli Montet.
