The Petrobangla operations director launched gas distribution from the newly discovered layer of the Rashidpur Gas Field in Bahubal upazila yesterday evening. Workers discovered gas reserves on September 5th within the well's new geological formation. Experts estimate 25.55 billion cubic feet of extractable gas over the next decade. Condensate production will accompany natural gas as an additional petroleum byproduct.
