Ms Tariq explained how badly people needed these supplies. She said this aid helps fight the hunger in Khartoum. Experts warn that Sudan might face a famine. They say about 24.6 million people need food right away.

The war started because two leaders fought for power. They had worked together before, taking control in 2021. But their fight turned into a civil war.

The conflict hurt many people. Tom Perriello, a US helper for Sudan, thinks maybe 150,000 people died. More than 11 million left their homes.

Peace talks keep happening. But the army and RSF haven't stopped fighting yet.
