Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua urged young Kenyans to register as voters on Saturday. He praised Generation Z for their civic engagement on social media, but he said it was not enough.

Gachagua met with Narc Kenya Party Leader Martha Karua at her Kirinyaga home. He pledged to work with Karua, citing her extensive political experience.

"We will work with like-minded Kenyans who care for this country," Gachagua said. He expressed joy at uniting with Karua, saying she has the experience and courage to help the Mt Kenya region move forward.

Karua was confident that their combined efforts would be a great force. She called on all people of goodwill to demand accountability.

"Today, a journey of uniting and liberating Kenya has begun," Karua said. "We will join with people from different regions."
