Ruto Inspects Mandera Teachers College

Ruto Tours Mandera College, Pledges Education Support.

President William Ruto visited Mandera Teachers Training College Tuesday as part of his week-long tour of Kenya's North Eastern region.

He met with students at the college and promised more teachers and better facilities across the area. "These improvements will create equal chances for all learners," Ruto said.

The president later spoke at Moi Stadium, where he vowed to tackle security issues in the region and stressed that his plans would help every student succeed.

Several officials joined the president's visit, including Deputy President Kithure Kindiki and regional governors Mohamed Adan Khalif of Mandera and Mohamud Ali of Marsabit. Cabinet Secretaries Aden Duale and Eric Muuga attended with local members of parliament.

The tour highlights Ruto's focus on developing education in Kenya's northeastern areas. His government aims to upgrade school buildings and hire additional teachers throughout the country.
