Rubanda district welcomed Samuel Ahabwe as its new Chief Administrative Officer. He takes over from Alex Kwizera, who retired last month after reaching retirement age. Kwizera served as the sixth CAO since the district formed eight years ago. He worked longer than anyone else in this position for Rubanda.
District Chairperson Stephen Ampaire Kasyaba praised Kwizera during an office meeting today. Kasyaba mentioned that five previous administrators failed to cooperate with earlier local governments. Kwizera managed to maintain good working relationships throughout his tenure. The chairperson expressed appreciation for his dedicated service.
