Adrian Thompson from SAPPHIRE showed off a bunch of PULSE Radeon RX 9070 XT graphics cards earlier this week. He posted a picture of these cards sitting in a big warehouse somewhere. His teaser message simply stated these cards were "ready to ship to happy customers." The photo revealed an impressive number of boxed products just waiting to head out the door. People who track supply chains mentioned this matches what they heard before. Going back to January 2025, custom versions of Radeon RX 9070 XT and RX 9070 cards made by different companies started arriving at stores and warehouses. When Overclockers UK saw Thompson sharing those stacked RDNA 4 boxes, they felt a little annoyed because it spoiled their surprise. Andrew Gibson from Overclockers UK decided to respond with his Star Trek-themed announcement. He shared how their marketing team spent hours building a solid cube from Sapphire RX 9070 XT Pulse Cards. The center contains even more cards—they have more than 1000 units of just that model. The UK retailer plans to sell these powerful cards for £569, including tax. The store has an incredible amount of stock across all brands. Gibson mentioned they could build many cubes from their inventory since they have several thousand cards. Besides Sapphire, they stocked over 1000 units each from PowerColor and ASRock. They also received hundreds more from Gigabyte and ASUS for this launch. Customers crashed the Overclockers UK website from all the excitement. Visitors only saw "504 Gateway Time-out" error messages when trying to access the store. Gibson continued his Star Trek references, saying, "AMD will assimilate you; resistance is futile." He invited everyone to buy the cards when they launch on March 6th at 2 p.m., with prices beginning at £524.99, including tax.
