Barrister Gbenga Akinbuli slammed the terrible state of High Court 1 located at Oka. The SDP boss for Ondo State fired off a harsh letter to the state's top legal officer. Dr. Olukayode Ajulo received the angry message about the crumbling courthouse. Akinbuli serves as both a lawyer and local resident who sees the problems daily. He demanded immediate action to fix the broken justice system. The courthouse suffers from major water leaks that damage everything inside during storms. Judges and lawyers must work around puddles and damaged furniture each day. Court staff struggle to maintain professional standards amid the chaos. Visitors cannot find proper places to sit during important legal proceedings. Recent heavy rains made all these problems much worse for everyone. Akinbuli questioned whether Ajulo actually knows about these serious issues. The SDP leader wondered if the Attorney General simply chooses to ignore the suffering. He reminded Ajulo about previous speeches promising major court improvements. The current reality falls far short of those grand reform promises made earlier. Staff and visitors deserve much better working conditions than this mess. The political leader pushed for complete financial independence for all state courts. He wants Ajulo to convince Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa to support this change. Proper funding could solve most of the current infrastructure problems quickly. Court operations need reliable money sources separate from political interference. Justice cannot function properly without adequate facilities and resources for daily operations.
