At the time of his death, he had reached his third and final year of studies at Kachebere Seminary and was preparing to move to Saint Peter's Major Seminary located in Zomba.

The seminary community feels deep sadness over losing such a promising candidate for the priesthood. Lloyd showed great potential for religious service before his unexpected death. His passing created a sense of loss throughout the seminary and his home community as they remembered a young man who appeared destined for important church service.
