Simba Bhora Triumphs at Trailblazers Awards

Simba Bhora to Receive Honor at Zim Community Trailblazers Awards.

Simba Bhora won the Premier Soccer League championship. They made history as the first team from Shamva and Mashonaland Central to do so. The awards ceremony will recognize their impact on football development.

The Shamva-based club is owned by local businessman Simba "Buju" Ndoro. They will play in the CAF Champions League starting in August. The new domestic season begins in March.

"Simba Bhora has added value to communities through football," said awards organizer Albert Masaka. "They come from a small town but achieve big things."

The team is currently training in South Africa. New coach Joel Lupahla replaced Tonderai Ndiraya, who left for Scottland. Several key players also joined Scottland.

Lupahla signed notable new players, including Donald Mudadi, Tonderai Mateyaunga, Blessed Ndereki, and Emmanuel Ziocha.

"We are moving, but it's not easy," Lupahla said. "Players come from different backgrounds. We use this camp to build unity."

Simba Bhora will face Dynamos in the Castle Challenge Cup on February 22. The match features the league and Chibuku Super Cup winners.

The annual Zim Community Trailblazers Awards honor impactful individuals and organizations. They will take place at the Harare International Conference Centre.
