Black Myth Wukong challenges even powerful gaming computers because it uses Unreal Engine 5 graphics. The game creates stunning visuals but experiences significant frame rate issues on most devices. Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Leading Edition chip surprised everyone during recent testing. Chinese YouTuber Geekerwan tested the mobile processor inside a RedMagic 10S Pro smartphone. The phone managed to run this demanding PC game through Windows emulation software. The smartphone delivered between 30 and 50 frames per second during gameplay testing. Testers set the resolution to 1600 x 720 pixels with graphics quality set to the minimum level. Special upscaling technology called NXSR helped boost performance at 50 percent base resolution. Frame stuttering still happened during combat scenes, but remained playable for most users. The mobile chip stayed cool at just 40 degrees Celsius during extended gaming sessions. Performance dropped significantly when testers increased resolution scaling to 100% of native quality. Frame rates fell below 20 per second and made the game unplayable. The Snapdragon chip handled graphics processing much better at lower resolution settings. Mobile hardware continues to improve each year and may soon match desktop gaming performance. Future Android games could run major PC titles natively, without the need for emulation layers.
