Sneha Khanwalkar has given Puranpoli a life beyond Lust Stories 3. The Diwali track gets a separate music video with Vijay Varma, Vikramaditya Motwane, Kratex, and Ganesh Chandanshive, all part of the festive fun.

The tune first had a spot in Motwane's section of the Netflix anthology. But Khanwalkar saw a chance to let it reach people outside the film. The video arrives as the Diwali buzz picks up, with a clear goal of getting fans to loosen up and dance.

And the sound? Khanwalkar describes it as a fun mix of styles, with a light mood and a beat made for a good time. She likes how the music brings different sounds into one track without losing its playful charm.

For her, having that group of artists take part makes the whole project more special. She hopes Puranpoli finds a spot in Diwali parties and gives people one more tune to dance to.

As for Lust Stories 3, the anthology has four parts, each led by a different director. Kiran Rao, Shakun Batra, and Vishal Bhardwaj join Motwane on the project.

Khanwalkar has quite a track record in Hindi film music as well. Her work on Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye! and both parts of Gangs of Wasseypur made her a known name. She also became the second woman nominated in her scoring category, following Usha Khanna after a gap of 28 years.
