SOKAPU Youths Reject Recall Effort Against Senator Katung

A youth group from Southern Kaduna has slammed another organization for trying to remove their senator from office. The Southern Kaduna People's Union Youth Wing spoke out against the Southern Kaduna Progressives Youth Network. The second group wants to recall Senator Sunday Marshal Katung and asked corruption fighters to investigate him.

Three leaders from SOKAPU's youth section made their feelings clear. Solomon Simon, Aruwa Alhassan, and Isah Emmanuel Anjadick all signed the angry response. They called the recall effort badly timed and said it does not speak for young people in their area.

The youth wing thinks Senator Katung deserves respect after two years of good work. They pointed out his bills helped sick people during a diphtheria outbreak. He also secured money for ginger farmers and pushed for new schools and hospitals in the region.

SOKAPU's young members listed many projects their senator brought home. These cover everything from water wells to science labs and student scholarships. The group believes most people like what Katung has done for them.

The youth leaders warned against using young people's groups to attack politicians unfairly. They said Southern Kaduna's reputation matters more than cheap political tricks. Their support goes to any leader who helps bring peace and development to their community.
