The former head of Nnamdi Azikiwe University reviewed Ononiba's book during the celebration. He described Ononiba as humble despite his high position. Okafor mentioned how junior lawyers felt comfortable arguing cases against more established attorneys when Ononiba presided over the court. Okafor feels excited about the younger judges working in Anambra today. He called them dynamic and praised their efforts in tackling case backlogs. Their rulings already show similarities to Ononiba's respected approach. Okafor believes these energetic judges just need mentoring from experienced jurists like Ononiba.
