South Africa will host the G20 Leaders’ Summit at the NASREC Expo Centre in Johannesburg on Nov. 22 and 23, 2025, the first time an African nation stages the event. A G20 Social Summit in Johannesburg from Nov. 18 to 20 will gather civil society groups. South Africa and the United Kingdom will also co-host the Global Fund’s eighth replenishment summit on Nov. 21 to raise resources to fight AIDS, tuberculosis, and malaria before handing the G20 presidency to the United States.
