Johannesburg court denies urgent relocation request
- Judge Stuart Wilson decided that moving the children away from their home in South Africa would totally wreck their stability right now.
- A mother named FM wanted to drop the kids off with relatives in Zimbabwe so she could head back to her job overseas.
- The legal team argued that this move would help things stay calm while the mom figured out how to get them to Europe.
- The father, TC, unfortunately, ended his own life in November 2025 after a bunch of heavy drama in the marriage.
- These kids actually saw the whole thing happen, and one of them even got hurt trying to step in and help their dad.
- Since the tragedy, an aunt named LB has been looking after the twelve, nine, and five-year-olds while keeping them away from their mother.
- LB got called out by the court for being petty and trying to make the kids blame FM for the death of their father.
- The children were born and raised in South Africa, so the judge figured sending them to an unfamiliar country without a parent was a bad move.
- FM now has the right to see her kids whenever she wants without anyone watching over her shoulder or blocking her phone calls.
- Everyone is waiting for a family advocate to look into whether the kids can eventually move to Ireland or stay put.
- LB is legally banned from pulling the children out of their current school or moving them to a new house without a judge saying it is okay.
- Judge Wilson is keeping a close eye on the situation himself until a permanent plan gets sorted out for the whole family.
