A man named Isaac Ssemakadde leads all the lawyers in Uganda. He has three big problems in court today. People want the court to say he made wrong choices and said mean things about important people. Two lawyers, Tony Tumukunde and Joshua Byamazima, do not like how Ssemakadde told some important government lawyers to leave their special group. These lawyers think he should not have done this. The court will look at this problem again on March 17, 2025. Ssemakadde says he made the right choice because these government lawyers did bad things. Another problem came up when Ssemakadde said things that made people trust the courts less. The court might make him pay Shs300 million or go to jail. He did not come to court when they asked him. The court will tell everyone what happens on February 28, 2025. The third problem started because Ssemakadde said mean things about Jane Frances Abodo, a very important lawyer who helps put bad people in jail. He said these mean things at a big meeting. The court wants to decide if they should send police to bring him to court. Ssemakadde asked another court to help him. They will talk about this on February 11, 2025. Many people question whether Ssemakadde makes good choices as the leader of all lawyers. They wonder if he should say such strong things about people who work in courts. This makes other lawyers in Uganda think hard about who should lead them.
