St. Petersburg plans bigger decorations for the 80th Victory Day celebration this year. City officials added more locations with festive displays compared to last year. Additional installations will appear at Kronstadt Square, Severnaya Square, and the intersection of Narodnaya Street with Bolshevikov Avenue. The main Victory Parade at Palace Square will stream live on screens at St. Isaac's Square, the Field of Mars, and Vasilievsky Island.

The city decorated almost 450 locations this year, up 50 from previous celebrations. According to official reports, these anniversary festivities will cost St. Petersburg about 230 million rubles.
