Fans wondered about the five-year gap between albums. Chimbetu believes quality matters more than rushing. He hopes this eighth album brings him success, just as eight means good luck in Chinese culture. His music history includes albums from 2007 through 2020. Chimbetu wants to honor his father, Simon, who died in 2005.
