The cops started looking into car fires that broke out early Friday at companies located in Avondale, Highlands, Newlands, and Goromonzi. Commissioner Paul Nyathi, who speaks for the national police, shared that these attacks happened between midnight and 4 am on March 28. Bad guys used gas to burn the cars as they drove them around business areas. The Zimbabwe Republic Police heard about many of these gas attacks on moving cars at business spots.
These criminals set the vehicles on fire, then jumped out fast. They escaped by hopping into other cars that waited nearby. The fires spread across several places at about the same time. The police statement from Commissioner Nyathi explained how the suspects planned these attacks with escape vehicles ready.
