The Seventh-day Adventist Church honored his good deeds with their Global Award of Excellence in March 2025. He became the first Black person to win this award. They picked him because he helps schools and poor communities through his charity, the Bridging Gaps Foundation.

Many people across Zimbabwe are excited about what's next. They wonder how his business brain and big heart might change the party. The coming weeks matter as top leaders decide about his new role. Politics in Masvingo will surely look different based on what happens with this key job.
