Finalist 2 leaves Reaktor behind and works either in a browser or as separate software. Projects accept 64 stems, double the old cap, while filenames handle sorting. Existing sessions can gain, lose, swap, or refresh parts without a rebuild.

Exports come as FLAC, WAV, or AIFF. One action produces the master and four grouped bounces for Front, Drums, Back, and Bass, which recombine cleanly. A library keeps mixes, Versions checks settings, and Templates carry setups across records or EPs. Resizing, tutorials, help, and live support sit inside the interface.

Hundreds of audio measurements feed hand-built genre presets. Processing can use Mid-Side work, analog warmth, a network of limiters, transient shaping, multiband dynamics, and clipper-limiters. Strength controls can push denser results. Tim Exile says AI plays no role.

Chrome and Edge handle browser use. Standalone builds cover Windows and macOS. Mixing costs nothing. Exports use credits, monthly or yearly plans, or a perpetual desktop license. Files stay local, and offline use covers three machines. Launch pricing trims 30%, taking £149 down to £99, while Finalist 1 upgrades move from £49 to £25.
