Top Citizens Recognized in Zimbabwe's Honor Roll

President Mnangagwa of Zimbabwe wants to honor great citizens and groups this year. He believes in giving praise where praise is due.

Last year, the president gave out top awards to seven people who excelled in many different fields. Dr. Misheck Sibanda received the highest honor. Sirizani Butau and Jubilee Utsiwegota received bravery awards. Others were also recognized for their good deeds.

The president's office is asking for new nominees. They want to find more deserving Zimbabweans. The individuals should be shining examples in their areas.

Many different honors will be given out. The Order of the Great Zimbabwe is for heroes of the liberation struggle. The Royal Order of Munhumutapa honors foreign friends who helped Zimbabwe. The Order of the Star of Zimbabwe recognizes amazing achievements.

There are also awards for preserving peace and unity. And for advancing the country's growth. Bravery awards will go to courageous people in uniform and civilians alike.

Special awards are named after Zimbabwe's past leaders. They recognize service in education, community development, justice, and human rights. The Jairos Jiri Humanitarian Award honors those who have dedicated their lives to helping others.

Zimbabwe looks forward to celebrating its best and brightest. The president wants to showcase their contributions. He hopes they will inspire the nation.
