Bebe Cool Announces His 2024 List of Top Ugandan Musicians. Bebe Cool is excited to share his highly anticipated list of the best Ugandan musicians for 2024. He makes this list every year to recognize the artists who stood out the most. Elijah Kitaka and his song "Dawa" made the list. Kitaka has a great voice and style that young people love. Bebe Cool thinks Kitaka's good character will help his career a lot. Azawi also made the list for the third year in a row with her big hit "Masavu". Bebe Cool praised her talent and Swangz Avenue for helping her. He advised her to avoid politics unless she wanted to quit music. D Star (Ozambe) and Mudra used TikTok smartly to make their song "Ozambe" go viral. It became very popular in East Africa. Bebe Cool is happy that their lives are better now because of this success. Kapeeke is new to the list, but his songs "Swiriri" and "Shu" connected with many people. His strong online presence and fashion also helped him succeed. Acidic Vokoz has many fans who come to his shows and sing his songs, even though Bebe Cool couldn't think of his biggest hit. He will be one of Uganda's most-booked artists in 2024. Gospel music is becoming more popular in Uganda. Springs of Life Choir's "Lukusuuta" and Pastor Wilson Bugembe's "Toonta" are two examples of gospel songs that many Ugandans love. Bebe Cool is happy to see gospel artists doing so well. Bebe Cool asked for people's thoughts on including "Nkuwulira" by Dokta Brain and Kataleya & Kandle on the list. He wants to hear what others think. Nandor Love's "Kinawoolovu" was very popular on social media and in clubs. Bebe Cool enjoys dancing to it. He thinks Nandor Love should work on her performing skills to keep the song's momentum going. Ava Peace and Dax Vybz made the list with their song "Tabu." Bebe Cool believes Ava Peace will be a big star with Jeff Kiwa's help. Aaronx went from being a taxi conductor to making the list with his classical song "Njalwaala". Bebe Cool admires his talent and hard work. He thinks artists like Aaronx are important for the future of music. Pretty Banks' song "Insido" has a smooth flow and catchy tune that Bebe Cool likes. He congratulates Pretty Banks on making a hit that is easy to listen to. Bebe Cool wants Lil Pazo to be careful with his lyrics now that he is famous. He should avoid using vulgar words in his songs. Alien Skin is very popular with young people, even though his songs aren't played much on TV, radio, or in clubs. Bebe Cool wants fans to discuss why Alien Skin is so successful. David Lutalo and Rema Namakula sound great together on their song "Love Commissioner". Bebe Cool appreciates their talent and commitment to Ugandan music. Bebe Cool is proud of his nephew Joshua Baraka's progress. His songs "Dalila" and "Digii IV" are doing well in Uganda and other countries. Bebe Cool thinks more Ugandan artists should try to be successful worldwide. Bebe Cool believes his own song, "Circumference," had the best marketing of any song in 2024. He says it is getting a lot of attention even though it just came out. The music video will be released on January 8th, 2025. Bebe Cool ends his list by saying he will never support any kind of abuse. He congratulates the artists who made the list and encourages those who didn't to keep working hard. He admits this is just his opinion and invites others to share their thoughts. However, he notes that 2024 was not a great year for Ugandan music overall. Bebe Cool wants people to have constructive discussions about how to improve the music industry instead of just blaming others. He believes the best approach is to identify real problems and suggest helpful solutions.
