Tottenham made a huge bid for West Ham star Mohammed Kudus that got turned away fast. The north London team offered fifty million pounds for the Ghana winger but West Ham said no thanks. Both clubs keep talking about a possible deal even after the rejection. Kudus really wants to join Spurs if he leaves his current team. Personal terms would not cause any problems for the 24-year-old player. Kudus signed a contract with West Ham that runs until 2028 and has special buyout rules. European teams must pay eighty million pounds during the first ten days of July. Premier League clubs need to fork out eighty-five million pounds for the same player. Saudi Arabian teams face the biggest price tag at one hundred twenty million pounds. Chelsea still watches Kudus after missing out on signing him from Ajax back in 2023. West Ham paid about forty-one million pounds for Kudus during August 2023 and he became their star player right away. The forward scored eighteen goals and made ten assists during his first season with David Moyes. His second campaign proved much harder with only five goals and four assists across thirty-five games. West Ham finished fourteenth in the Premier League table that year. Kudus had helped Ajax win two straight league titles before moving to London. Spurs need more attacking players even after signing Mathys Tel from Bayern Munich permanently. The club wanted Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford but he prefers Manchester United instead. Tottenham also asked about Antoine Semenyo from Bournemouth who has signed a new contract there.
