Trump Media expands streaming to Canada and Mexico

Trump Media and Technology Group shares have lost over half their value this year as excitement about the stock faded. The company runs the Truth Social platform and Truth Plus streaming service and plans to launch Truth.Fi for asset management and ETFs. Despite falling stock prices, it keeps looking for new ways to make money.

Truth Social sees just 646,000 daily visits, which brings in very little cash. The parent company reported only $3.6 million in sales last year, with actual billings around $200,000. They recently started a streaming service called Truth Plus that claims big tech companies cannot shut down. This service works through the Truth Social app and offers features like a two-week program guide, catch-up TV for recent shows, network DVR, and video on demand.

The company just announced it's expanding its content streaming service north and south of the border. People in Canada and Mexico can download the Truth+ mobile app from Apple's App Store or Google Play Store. TV apps work on Roku, Apple, Android, and Amazon Fire devices in those countries. CEO Devin Nunes claims this expansion gives these neighboring countries an escape from big tech companies, boring news channels, and progressive TV shows and movies.
