The UAE Ambassador to Zimbabwe, Jassim Mohammed Al Qasimi, wants Zimbabwe to work with the UAE more. He thinks this will help Zimbabwe's economy grow. The UAE is a world leader in transportation. Many UAE companies want to do business in Zimbabwe, and President Mnangagwa has been trying to attract more foreign investment. The UAE has become one of Zimbabwe's biggest trading partners. The Ambassador says this is because of the UAE's great leadership and teamwork. He said, "Zimbabwe and other countries can work with the UAE and learn from what the UAE has done to grow its economy." The UAE wants to strengthen its economic and investment ties with Zimbabwe. Zimbabwe should look for ways to partner with the UAE so both countries can grow. The UAE's economy is very diverse. It has grown a lot. Zimbabwe wants to become an upper-middle-income country by 2030. The UAE can show Zimbabwe how to do this. 2024 was a big year for the UAE. 200,000 new companies started there. The UAE traded more than $762 billion with other countries. Foreign investments coming into the UAE were about $35.4 billion. The UAE exported about $51.7 billion worth of industrial goods. The UAE signed more than 140 important agreements with other countries in 2024. These were about the economy, clean energy, technology, and security. The UAE government also updated many of its laws. This was to make the country more competitive. In 2024, many people traveled through UAE airports and stayed in UAE hotels, which shows that the UAE is a popular place to visit. The UAE government has started more than 750 projects to keep the economy growing. They want to attract talented people from all over the world and help people start their own businesses. Zimbabwe can learn a lot from the UAE's success. Working together could help Zimbabwe's economy grow significantly.
