He praised their creativity and dedication to showcasing Uganda culture. Mr. Hassan Saleh manages MultiChoice Uganda and noted the festival growth. The event started as a national competition but became regional. He promised long-term support for the film industry. Ms. Mariam Ndagire runs a film and performing arts center. She highlighted how the festival helps young filmmakers develop skills. Her school partners with the festival to train new talent. The event creates opportunities for emerging artists to show their work. Increased viewership helps nominated films reach more audiences. UCC and its partners plan to continue supporting filmmakers.
