Joseph Tumwine, who runs installations for ITMS, said they're getting plates installed on the scheduled day about eighty-three percent of the time now.

He also dropped some bigger news. They are aiming to make a million new plates next year from a factory they built in Kyambogo. That place already has three hundred Ugandan workers and can make two thousand five hundred plates in a single shift. The whole point is to make these things locally to meet demand and keep the registration process smooth for drivers.
