The Women in Film Uganda group started recently to help female movie makers. They offer training, legal help, and job leads. They want safe workplaces for all women. Some film companies even set up childcare on movie sets for working mothers.

Cleopatra Koheirwe starred in The Last King of Scotland in 2006 and later appeared in 620 episodes of Prestige on DStv. She credits her success to focus, prayer, and hard work. Growing up with brothers taught her to stand strong against any pressure.
