Uganda sells about 10.6 million dollars worth of coffee, fish and minerals to Japan each year. Japanese companies send machinery, cars and electronics worth 70 million dollars back to Uganda. Ambassador Kaahwa said Uganda offers natural resources, young workers and a good location for business growth.

The Osaka Expo runs from April through October and expects 28 million visitors. Uganda sees the event as a chance to attract investors and sell more products overseas. Japanese investment already helps renewable energy, car sales and farm technology projects across Uganda. Officials want to increase trade partnerships with Asia's third largest economy through the expo.
