A lady called Huda Abason Oleru met with people from Azerbaijan at her office in Mbuya. The leader of the visitors was a man named Rustam Hasanli. They came to talk about working together.

This meeting happened after someone from Uganda went to Algeria last month. Uganda wants more friends who know about defense things.

Ms. Oleru felt happy that Azerbaijan wants to be friends with Uganda. "We thank Azerbaijan for wanting to work with us. This friendship will help our defense companies and make our country better," she said.

They talked about making things together through a company called NEC. One company they talked about fixes helicopters. It has a fancy name: Proheli International Services Ltd.

Mr. Hasanli from Azerbaijan promised to help Uganda. "We want to help Uganda learn about new fighting machines. We will also train people and give supplies," he said.

Uganda sent important people to the meeting. Some military leaders were there, like Lt Gen Sam Okiding and Lt Gen James Mugira. A lady called Edith Buturo also joined the talks.

These talks will make Uganda and Azerbaijan become even better friends. They want to learn about new fighting machines and train people to use them.
