UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres warned Friday that the Israel-Iran fight could lead to complete chaos. He spoke to diplomats meeting about the conflict that started one week ago. Iran asked for a special Security Council session. Their ambassador called Israel's attack large and unprovoked. Guterres talked from Geneva where he worked with foreign ministers from Iran and European countries. He said the war kills civilians and damages homes and nuclear sites. Rafael Grossi leads the nuclear watchdog agency and said Israeli strikes made nuclear safety much worse. President Trump stayed mostly out but said he would decide about bombing Iran within two weeks. Trump wants a nuclear deal with Iran like they discussed before the fighting began. Acting US Ambassador Dorothy Shea said Iran must stop making nuclear weapons completely. She called Iran dangerous and said they attack Israeli civilians and hospitals. Russia and China criticized Israel's strikes on Iran. Iraq also condemned the attacks and said Israeli planes flew through their airspace. Israeli Ambassador Danny Danon said nuclear Iran threatens world peace most. He claimed Israel acted as a last choice and would not wait for more attacks. European diplomats met with Iran's foreign minister seeking peaceful solutions. British and French ambassadors called for restraint and protecting civilians.
