The most important group at the United Nations met and said everyone must stop the M23 fighters who are attacking people in Congo. They told Rwanda's army to leave Congo right away and to stop helping these fighters. Many big countries like America and Britain are very upset with Rwanda. They said they might not give Rwanda money anymore if they kept sending soldiers to Congo. These countries usually give Rwanda more than one billion dollars every year to help people there. The United Nations wants everyone to stop fighting and start talking to each other. They think Rwanda and Congo should meet and find a way to make peace. If people keep making trouble, the United Nations might punish them by taking away things they need. America has already punished some people who helped start the fighting. They picked two important men: one who works for Rwanda's government and another who speaks for the M23 fighters. Rwanda says they need to protect themselves from bad people in Congo, but other countries think Rwanda should listen and change what they're doing. The M23 fighters have taken over big cities in Congo called Goma and Bukavu. Many people died because of the fighting, and lots of families had to run away to other places to be safe. The fighters closed down the airport in Goma, which made it hard for people to bring food and medicine to help others. The United Nations is very angry because some people attacked workers who were trying to help. They don't want anyone to hurt regular people or break important things like hospitals. They want everyone to let helpers bring food and medicine to people who need it. They also want to turn the water and electricity back on for everyone. The United Nations has special peace workers in Congo. They reminded everyone that it's against the law to hurt these peace workers. They want all the fighting to stop and for everyone to work together to make things better.
