Universal Audio has released an expanded edition of its Ocean Way Studios plugin that recreates the acoustic properties and hardware from the California recording facility where artists from Ray Charles to Radiohead have tracked albums. The software uses Dynamic Room Modeling to simulate Studio A and Studio B spaces originally designed by Bill Putnam Sr., along with three reverb chambers and analog equipment chains favored by engineers at the venue.

The company prices Ocean Way Studios Deluxe at $249 while existing owners can upgrade for $49. Access is available through perpetual licensing or UAD Spark subscription plans.
