Message:
Falcon 2027 gives UVI's flagship synth four fresh oscillators and ten extra effects. Existing users get the upgrade free, while SonicBundle members and SonicPass subscribers are covered as well. The release also brings 140 new patches and a bunch of changes to make sound editing less fiddly. West Folder, FM Explorer, Spectral Stretch, and MultiSample make up the new oscillator set. Data Envelope joins the modulation tools, giving users another way to shape sounds. There is quite a bit here for people who like to build patches from scratch. Effects get a big update as well. Lowpass Gate and Wavefolder join FET Compressor, Feedforward Compressor, Steiner Filter, and Passive EQ. Users also get Analog BBD Delay, Analog BBD Chorus, a Spectrogram analyzer, and Loudness Meter. Plenty of extra tools without needing a separate plugin for each job. The interface has had some work done. Module TreeView makes browsing easier, and the oscillator picker can sort choices by type. Editors have new displays with zoom, freehand drawing, selections, and live changes. Handy for anyone who spends a lot of time tweaking patches. Three expansions arrive alongside the synth update. Savage 2 caters to drum and bass, bass music, and mainroom techno, with heavy macro control. Particular uses three XY pads to alter grains, filters, and effects. Every patch gets MPE support as well. West Fold takes a different route with West Coast synthesis. Its sounds make use of the new complex oscillator, with interactive sequences giving players more room to experiment. There is a sale for new buyers as well. Falcon 2027 costs $149 or €149 at half its regular $299 or €299 price. Each new license comes with a $100 or €100 voucher for Soundware.
