Since that was a Beyoncé track featuring Blue Ivy, he thinks it counts for zero solo points. It is hilarious because Beyoncé herself worships Fela Kuti. She performed Zombie as a tribute and talks about him constantly. Zombie even got into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2025. Fela is also getting a posthumous Lifetime Achievement Award because he is a literal god. VDM pointed out that Burna Boy and Tems actually won for their own merit. Burna Boy took Best Global Music Album for Twice As Tall. Tems has her own collection of trophies, too. He thinks their wins are way more legitimate than getting a boost from a feature. He also defended Fela Kuti for having multiple wives. People judge Fela, but then turn around and praise King Solomon for the exact same lifestyle choices. It is a massive double standard that clearly annoys him. He thinks the Kuti dynasty still runs the entire game. Wizkid has not surpassed Fela, Femi Kuti, Seun Kuti, or Made Kuti. The cultural influence of that family is just on another level compared to modern pop stars.
