Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons commenced a three-day virtual reality training program for cataract surgery procedures. Orbis Country Director Dr Munir Ahmed emphasized that simulation training reduces surgical complications during early career stages. The program aims to strengthen Bangladesh's capacity for quality cataract care delivery. FVR Simulation technology provides realistic training environments that build surgical confidence and competency among ophthalmologists and residents.
