Kamwendo was the group's chairperson and worked at the Nsanje District Council. Gerrald was the spokesperson and worked at Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital in Blantyre. Tembo was a lead member of the Blantyre District Council.

The transfer list has 13 names on it, but it doesn't say why Kamwendo, Gerrald, and Tembo are being moved. Eight people are switching places, and two others asked to be transferred. Some people think the three were transferred because they spoke out against NONM's leadership.
