A man named Cde Geza took over a beautiful hotel called Harare Safari Lodge near Lake Chivero back in 2020. He forced the workers to leave and took the cars that belonged to Mr Brett McDonald, who owned the place before. Cde Geza did this because he had friends in important places. Mr McDonald agreed to sell the hotel to Cde Geza for one and a half million dollars. Cde Geza promised to pay all the money within two weeks. He never paid any money at all, but he moved into the hotel anyway without asking Mr McDonald. He lives there and uses everything as if it belongs to him. People tried to make Cde Geza leave the hotel because he broke his promise to pay money. They sent him letters telling him to go, but he stayed anyway. Mr McDonald became very upset and asked the big court, the High Court, to help him take back his hotel. Cde Geza tells everyone the hotel belongs to the government. He says the government took the land in 2005, which means Mr McDonald had no right to sell it to him. This made him refuse to pay any money. He wants Mr McDonald to prove the land really belonged to him before they made their deal. The judge listened to both sides but could not decide who was right. They need another big meeting in court to answer three important questions about who owns the hotel and whether their agreement was real. Mr McDonald's lawyer says Cde Geza even scared him by saying he would hurt him. The lawyer tells everyone that Cde Geza stole the hotel from his client in broad daylight and even took Mr McDonald's house, which was never part of their agreement.
