The warfighters plan big street protests to make Mnangagwa quit his job.

The ruling party has split into two groups. One group loves Mnangagwa and wants no voting in 2028 to keep him as boss until 2030. The other group likes Vice President Constantino Chiwenga better and wants to follow the law about how long someone can be president.
