Microsoft keeps finding ways to annoy users with Windows 11 and its security measures. They recently patched the popular bypass script "bypassnro.cmd" that let users complete OS installation without setting up a Microsoft account. But don't worry, X user @witherornot1337 has already figured out a workaround! It's as easy as running a command in CMD, and here's how you can do it, too. To make this bypass work, you need to install the Home or Pro editions of Windows 11. For other versions, you can just use the "I don't have internet" button. When you're at the initial setup step after installing Windows 11, press "Shift + F10". This will open up CMD. Type in the command "start ms-cxh:localonly" and hit enter. Another window will pop up, allowing you to create a local user account only. This gets rid of the requirement to set up a Microsoft account. It's a much simpler way to bypass the restriction. From what I can tell, the ms-cxh command handles most of the Windows 11 OOBE (Out-of-Box Experience) process. Adding the "local only" tag to it forces the Microsoft Cloud Experience Host (CXH) to skip the internet and Microsoft account requirements. The process is apparently defined by a JSON file located within CXH directories. By doing this, you can skip setting up a Microsoft account, which can be a real pain, especially if you want to access your OS quickly on the first run. There's a chance Microsoft will patch this method out with the next Windows 11 insider update. They claim that not setting up a Microsoft account is a "security issue". But for the time being, this bypass works just fine. It's a handy trick to know if you want to avoid the hassle of setting up a Microsoft account every time you install Windows 11. Give it a try the next time you're setting up a new Windows 11 installation. Remember, press "Shift + F10" at the initial setup screen, type "start ms-cxh:localonly" into CMD, and follow the prompts to create a local user account. It's a quick and easy way to bypass Microsoft's account requirement and get up and running with your new OS in no time.
