Equity Bank finished its "Abakyala ku Ntiiko" program today at the Kiboga District Local Government Main Hall. This final event focused on helping women succeed in business. Many female entrepreneurs, money experts, and community leaders came together. They learned about finances, built connections, and displayed their products at small trade shows. Lambert Kusemererwa from the Kiboga Branch explained why the bank wants to help women-run businesses. He said women hold communities together, and when they have money skills, everyone benefits. The bank wants to give them what they need to succeed. During the day, women showed off their businesses, learned how to handle money better, and heard from successful businesswomen who shared their stories. Anyone attending could open a bank account right there. Rhoda Nakintu, who works as Administrative Secretary for Kiboga District, gave the main speech. She leads Bukomero Business Associates and tells women they should save money regularly and pay back loans on time. She learned from Equity Bank that paying back loans creates new chances. She added that not trying at all blocks success more than failing does. The bank awarded three standout women. Dorothy Ndagire won for paying back loans fast. Jesca Sylvia Nannyondo was praised for her saving habits and business account activity. Maddy Nalubowa earned recognition for bringing people together. The day ended with everyone trading ideas and contact information. Equity Bank keeps working to help women across the country access financial services and grow their businesses through programs like "Abakyala Ku Ntiiko."
